: I recently purchased a Sony TRV900 digital camera. Now I want to purchase a computer that has IEEE1394, so that I can do digital video editing using Premiere. I have always had a PC, and thought I would get a 500mZ, with 20 gig 7200 rpm hard drive. I also heard that the Canopus Raptor card has IEEE capabilities, and works well? Any comments, or do I need to buy a G4 MAC?
The ieee1394 Ratoc card works great with a DVCR-210 from sony, no problem with it except with Netmeeting!?
