: Lyn,
: Don't dismiss Quark.
: The problem you are experiencing is unique to say the least.
: I've work on both Pagemaker and Quark for more than 10 years now.
: Although Pagemaker may get you buy for now.
: Quark is far more suitable for reproduction.
: Pagemaker doesn't even address some prepress issues like trapping wel enough to consider the 2 programs equal. I think if the problem you are having with Quark is ironed out you will end up enjoying it much more than Pagemaker.
: Again sorry I couldn't help. I strongly suggest contacting quark help directly.
It looks very like my printer driver is the problem. A friend tested it and had same problem so I assumed the printer was OK,but since then have run successfully on laser, postscript and non postscript and on Canon bubblejet. I have Epson Stylus Colour 600 - have contacted Epson to see if they can help. On the phone they mumbled something about RIP??? I have a sinking feeling that I'm going to have to buy a new printer.
