I recently purchased the HP LaserJet 4050 USB for the Macintosh. It prints fine in most applications and the internet, but I use it for Desktop Publishing. I get postscript errors when printing from Photoshop or QuarkXPress. Anytime I try to place a TIF scan in Quark with a little text I get an error. These errors include- offending command or postscript error on the computer screen not the printer.
The printer came with 8 megs of RAM, and I ordered 16 more. Could this be the problem? Do I need more memory?
My other question is this a good printer for me? What other options do i have with the kind of work I do?
Any comments or experiences with this printer.
What kind of printers does everyone else use?
My requirements are 1200dpi, Laser, Adobe PS.
I know I am throwing a lot out there. Thank you in advance for your replys.
