How do I cut an image in pieces for use in a table ?!?! Help me!

I want to cut an image in pieces for use in a table with the onmouseover etc. command but I don't know how to cut it. For example a vertical cut must be exactly at pixel 155 in the image. Please help me how to do it or give me names of programs that easily devide/cut it for me.
