G'day.
I have no formal education or training in graphic arts, but I since I was very young, my closest friends and family members have always been impressed with my illustrations, doodles and other graphical creative outlets. I've always been somewhat of a computer nut, so 1+1=2; ergo, artistic abilities + computer know-how = digital graphic design. But as I said, I have no formal training, even though I want to pursue it as a career. Any advice for someone to self-educate one's self in the GD industry? I wish I could start my career over, but here I am, a government employee, boxed into a career and finally wanting to break out of the box and realize my lifelong dream of becoming a digital artist. Can you help me connect the dots?
