We've receieved a number of Excel files with embedded metafiles that have been created using English fonts on a Japanese Windows 95 with Office 97 for Japanese systems. When the files are opened in a US version of Windows 95, the special characters such as degrees, percent sign, and others are all messed up. What do you recommend?
