: : : : I'm thinking about using the epson paper for transfers,
: : : : how is the wuality and durability (peeling, opacity, etc.)
: : : : of the transfer? any other hints would be very helpful as well!
: : : : thanks
: : It appears to me that there are at leasttwo varieties of transfer paper. With one style, ink comes off but no jell is applied to the shirt. With some others I've tried, the image is a part of a coating on the shirt and that has peeled off for me after washing. I like the stuff without an additional jell or coating on the shirt. What I have, I've bought aty a computer show, but the package doesn't have a companty name. I'd like to get more. It's labeled INKJET TRANSFER SHEETS specifically designed for inkjet printers and on the right side of the page has ablie T-shirt labeled Desktop Publishing Supplies - The American Flag- and Made in the USA. A loga says "The Good Stuff" Washing instructions are in the lower half of the page. Does anyone know where I can get more of this type?

The Transfer paper that doesn't leave a gel on the shirt that I use comes from Desktop Publishing Supplies Inc., 425 Washington Avenue, North Haven CT. 06473. I got it at a computer show 20 sheets for 29.95. I think one Epson version gave me similar results, but Epson makes two styles, one listing that the paper is for certain Epson ink-jet printers more advanced than my stylus 2. The Paper from the above address requires you to was first with vinegar and then soap, but the results to me are fantastic, I have shirts now two years old that I treat just as ordinary clothes with good results. The above paper has the company's name but not address on the transfer, but I found it on postcard stock from the same company. -Tom
