: I've changed from a Mac to a Pc and having trouble getting color separations. I've tried importing color graphics I've created in Illustrator and they are just ignored. I've saved the files as Illustrator 7.0 files, Illustrator EPS and exported to TIF. Sometimes the TIF will work and other times not. Am I missing something? I am totally stumped here. I've never run across anything like thiss. Please help.
: Thanks.
Not too long ago, I was forced to do a job in PageMaker (because my customer the UN in Nairobi Kenya only had PM 6.0. Well you wouldn't believe what I had to do to get the grahics to work. I use Corel to draw. Apparently PageMaker doesn't like Corel. I exported from Corel as an .ai file. Opened up Illustrator 7.0 and opened up the file. Saved as an Illustrator eps. Opened up the file in Photoshop and saved as a photoshop eps. And only then would the files print or come out in a PDF file. It was quite frustrating.
