I am a recent college graduate trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life...
A lot of soul searching has led me to desktop publishing. My experience is limited to writing my own newspaper for a summer at age 11, formatting a church newsletter, and just playing around. Can anyone recommend...
1) How to get my feet wet and get myself a job (in Washington, D.C. or Atlanta, GA)?
2) A certificate/training company or program (in same places)?
3) The general skills/program knowledge necessary to enter the field?
Please help me!! I feel really lost in a candy store--like I know that I want it but I don't what I want!!! Thank you. Are there any experienced DTPs interested in being my email mentor? THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
