When I scan a high contrast area, say black against white, in color I get a one to two pixel color fringe where the colors meet. Blue below the black and red or orange above. This happens with reflective art and transparencies. I wouldn't expect this from a $2000.00 scanner, but I could be wrong.
Is this normal, or should these areas fade into each other with grey tones?
