I have used the Phaser series -- sorry, I don't remember which model. The one we used had special paper that had an edge at the end that had to be torn off every page, very annoying. It printed beautifully but was slow. I demoed another Phaser that was quite nice. It used the wax sticks that you loaded in instead of ink cartridges. This was fast but two drawbacks:
No double-sided printing, which may not be an issue.
The wax would scratch off the paper. Our publications tended to get thrown around and abused, so we decided not to go with it.
Right now at work I have a Canon BJC-700 that is slow but prints nice. At home we have an HP (don't know model) inkjet which is very nice and faster.
