You should demo these two laser printers
Xerox DocuColor 4 LP.
I have not used it myself,
but here are some specs.
Max paper size 13"x19"
16 ppm black/4 ppm color (I think this is for 8 1/2x11)
600x600 dpi x 8-bit color
monthly volume 2,500-5,000
One Standard paper tray
Network Connectivity
Price starts at $6,995
Hewlett Packard 8500DN w/ duplexer
I have not used it myself,
but here are some specs.
Max paper size 12"x18.5"
24 ppm black/6 ppm color (8 1/2x11)
600 dpi
Duplexing
$8599
Also before you get anything you should check out
what your toner will cost per page.
I believe that the price for a high end 740
is around $7,000
Anything faster and you would need to get a Cannon,
Xerox, Minolta high end color copier with networking.
They can run btw. $30,000 to $100,000 bucks.
