: : : : I've heard there is a shareware utility 'out there somewhere' called Max-ette which allows a PC to read MAC disks. Does anyone have any experience of the utility, or know of another that works well?

: : : : Thanks in advance

: : : You can get it via http://www.asy.com/, they also have a thing called TransMac which does the same thing it appears.

: : : Cheers,

: : You can convert Mac to PC files w/ Conversions Plus by Dataviz software. It converts practically all Mac files, software and is able to read all removable media form the Mac to the PC. Check it out as it's well worth it!

: : P.S. Go to http://www.dataviz.com to get more info.
