Problem with Wordlinx

I have just moved from a 486 3.1 operating system to a 200 Pentium with Windows 95. I used to have Word and Wordperfect connected to the scanner. I had to enter the macro which came with loadlinx and the word recognition appeared in the Word and Wordperfect programs so that i could scan into the wordprocessing programs. Even better in PageMaker, Wordlinx embedded itself into PageMaker and I could scan pictures and words from there. Now, even though the software is for 3.1 and 95 I can only scan pictures. Wordlinx sits there and does nothing! Please help!
