: I am about to start my own DTP business. I am self taught. I really could use some help on the business end of this endeavor. How do you set your prices? Were you not nervous when you first started? Should I really invest in Syquest or a Zip drive? Which is better? Should I wait and go to school first? I have a lot of questions but can't find any answers? Any help would be appreciated. I'm so glad to see that there are so many people who can make a living at this. I 've been told that there really isn't a need for this because so many people these days have there own computers and
: software.
: Thank you all, This page is great!

I read with much interest the responses to Gloria's questions since I, too
am looking to work full time in dtp. For me, however, it is a complete
career switch, and while I have presentation skills, that's about it.
I'm interested in working through a temp agency that trains you and sends you out
on jobs - has anyone done this? What did you think? Any and all responses
would be appreciated.
Thanks.
