I'm sorry but, there is things to consider when
porting ANY document from a platform to an other.
And talking with experience, more 80% of jobs
comming from PC-equiped clients don't output right
the first time. Is it because of Windows? Not that
much (but it was back to the Win3.1 times). Maybe
you were right: there is room for talented people
in this field because most of PC users don't
know wath they're doing. You may say that this is
the "ego" thing that's just showing up, but that's
only a fact. What is the profile of those peoples?
Have they learned on a chair at school that
Desktop Publishing Thing? Are they comming from
a School of Art or design? Or maybe are they just
peoples interested on computers, grown up
with Microsoft Office, playing with layout and
"Fonts" (a new word they just learned), then bought
CorelDraw! and its 35,000 fonts and clipArts for
some bucks. And then, they could do some work for
their uncle that have a little shop and some flyers
to do.
Talented people have learned it at school, with Macs.
