: I need a way to import a database into large Pagemaker documents. Data has to be linked so that certain data can be updated automatically. Will Framemaker, Infopublisher or Xdata accomplish this?I am working with a Macintosh computer, database comes from AS400.
One suggestion would be FrameMaker 5.1.1 (Adobe) and FM Publisher (Publish Right!: ). Both run on Mac, PC, various Unix and the combination will allow 500+ page manuals etc with multipage tables, multiple indexes etc etc.
BTW, I have no interest in either corp., but I use FM extensively.
Another resource is Compuserve: Adobe Applications forum: section 17 (FrameMaker)-- many FM mavens hang out there!
