: I can't get PageMaker to print to my HP5L unless I setup the document with a Postscript printer and have it print proofs to the 5L.
: Anybody have suggestions? Is it the print driver? Do I need to load the PCL driver instead?

Diane,
Wish I could help; I just know that it CAN be done--this is the only printer I have--I'm saving for a Postscript printer, and I print from PM to it all the time. It may be the print driver; I think we do have the PCL driver installed.
I will say, that (as I expected) when I try to print a graphic in EPS format, it does looks really strange--and some won't print at all. But just for plain text, etc. I have had no trouble.
