Cindy and friend.
Iam currently studying graphic design at Brooks College
in Long Beach Ca. I must agree that I indeed have had a
strange relationships with my Mac-happy cohorts at school.
I, by virtue of good will, was given a PC as a gift. I to
purchased CorelDraw 4,5,6, and now 7. I produce all my class projects
on my PC at home and tranfer them to Mac's at school. I know both systems.
But I prefer to work on my PC because I know it better. But I also realize that to succeed as a graphic designer
in the future I need to know the Mac. One individual at school told me i was
the dumbest @#$%^^&&(&*^% in the world for using a PC, and then threatened to kill me. Cindy is correct in stating that cross-platform is the future.
I plan to contribute to the field regardless of the machine I produce the work on.
Frankly, Im looking forward to the Power PC machines that can handle any OS. And if I had my way I'd own an SGI.
