: I am interested in getting a new publishing software package. Which is better, Microsoft's new Publisher '97, or PageMaker 6? I need a program that is quick, flexable, farly easy to use and produces good looking publications. I am aware of Microsoft's repitition, but what about this PageMaker company?
MS Publisher is so auto mated and it is for really exteme am amateurs. It can not even produce color seperations! PageMaker is to long in the tooth. It is way to complicated, it costs way too much and it is lacking in some areas. the exception-PAGEPLUS! It comes with all the features and power of PageMaker and better ab=nd it does not baby you, but if you need help, it is readily availible! It is about 200. Or it can be as low as 50. The 2oo version comes with all the extra acessories. Every extra dollar is worth it, these programs are top notch!
