In Reply to: Importing EPS Files in PM6.0 posted by Maria Valuch on April 09, 1997 at 10:33:27:
: Hi Fellow PageMaker Artist
: My firm is in the process of upgrading to Windows NT 4.0 and me to PageMaker 6.0.
: I'm currently working on Win3.0 (PC) and PageMaker 5.0. In producing my firms weekly reports I import EPS files that are created by a software called AREMOS (sought of like FAME). Currently I import these EPS files into Zenographics Zscript. This software translates the postscript information so I can view a chart on screen before adding it to the document.
: According to Zenographics, they will not be updating Zscript for NT usage in the near future. The delemma is these EPS files need to be incorporated, and I can't be upgraded till a solution is found. I noticed Corel's Photo Paint has an EPS translator. I was able to view the picture on screen, but the bottom half of it gets cut off. I tried playing around with the canvas size but that didn't help. I haven't any experience in Photo Paint.
: If someone can explain how I can change the settings so I can view the whole EPS picture, my computer/software can be upgraded. Or, perhaps there is another alternative that is extremely cost efficient.
: Hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks!
: Please e-mail me your answer.
