I have found some left side backgrounds that I have seen others use, and like them a lot. How do you use them?
I can set my page margin in pixels so that the left bar is out of the used portion of the page, but what if I want to create items that are located in portions of the sidebar? For instance, I have a nice multicolor sidebar with different color boxes about 1 inch square, making up the sidebar. I would like to put text in each of the boxes. I would prefer not editing the actual graphic, and since it repeats about every 6 inches, that wouldn't work anyway. Is there somewhere I can read about using these things?
Thanks for any input.
