I am a student who just graduated from college and now looking for work. I have a portfolio, but it is all student stuff. What would be the best way to show my portfolio? Can I use color prints from my deskjet printer? Do I show cropmarks? Also I keep hearing about showing prospective employers related materials. But I don't have alot of related materials, I have a little of everything. Also should I show films (separations in my portfolio)?
What do you guys think of starting in a print shop as a training ground?
Thanks,
Joyce Braverman
