I encountered the following problem in Word97:
I am editing a rather large file (50 pages) with ca 20 graphics (incl. bitmaps, excel diagrams etc). Once in a while (about every week for no reason obvious to me) all inserted graphics are replaced with a red cross. If i double click on the cross all excel diagrams come up again, if I double click on the bitmaps, the Word97 Graphic Editor allows me to edit the red cross, but the bitmap is gone.
Does anybody know a solution ???
