  AFH Free Photoshop Plugin Filters  AFH Beveler Plugin Filters allow one step creation of beveled buttons, etc. This is PC only, but Versions for other platforms can be generated using Filter Factory and the sources included in the zip file.

  Plugin Commander  is a tool for dealing with various image formats, plugins and effect types from various graphics applications.   Seamless Workshop  composes seamless tiles from any image. Also, a "surrealistic modification" of a picture can be produced.

  The Works  was originally created in the 90's, but have been updated several times and converted into a number of different versions. They provide the user with a base of very simple effects that can be handy on a regular basis.   Topaz Labs  has a free plugin called DeJPEG .. which removes JPG artifacts and enhances image clarity. In case you don't have Photoshop, this will also work with anything that supports Photoshop plugins, including freeware such as Irfanview and GIMP.

  Ulead  has a bunch of free stuff on this page including the ArtTexture.Plugin, Particle.Plugin, FantasyWarp, and DV Converter.

  Water Ripples  produces a realistic water ripples effect. The designer has numerous options as well as an impressive 3D quality. The random settings generator produces unlimited variations of rippled surfaces.

  XERO Graphics  has a nice selection of free Photoshop-compatible plugins available for download. These are all freeware, and they should work without problems with any Windows graphics program that supports the Adobe Photoshop plugin architecture.
