Re: font problem with Illus 7 and Photoshop 4 (for Win)

: : When I use the type tool to place text on my Illustrator file it comes up fine, but when I try and load the file in Photoshop, I get the message that some fonts are unavailable (with the exception of the standard windows fonts lik Arial, Times New Roman, etc.). What's the problem? : I have the same problem. I believe the fonts are : specific to AI. I tried installing ATM, but that : didn't work. : My work around is to convert your text to outlines : (type > create outlines). This works most of the time : depending on the type style. Just make sure to make : a copy of your text in case you want to edit it as : "type" later on. : I would be interested in other people's comments on : working with type in AI and PS. : Hope this helps...Keith
