Illustrator 7.0 (Win95) to Illustrator Mac 5.

How can I save a Illustrator 7 for Win95 file so that a Mac with version 5 can read it? I tried saving it as illustrator 5 in Win but am still unable to read it in Mac. I had no problem reading the Mac file into PC. Thanks
