: I am having the worst problem with an illustration that I created using the gradient mesh too. It looks great on the screen, but when I pull it into Quark as an eps when I print it falls apart.... Any suggestions?

Use PageMaker. Or open image in photoshop at 600dpi 140% of finish size then save as a photoshop EPS Quark will accept only the simplest formats the learning curve is great but the results are great as well consider the change to pagemaker to avoid upcomming quark problems.
