: I have tried many different ways but I cannot seem to use cartoon cel in fill. I do an auto select on a black and white image. Then create a new mask. Then add to that mask to fill in where there are now lines. and doing load mask, and choosing replace mask. Then however when I go to fill and use cartoon cell, it still fills in the whole image. I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I would appreciate some help. Thank you. BJ

I just downloaded a couple tutorials on using Painter for cartoon figures. I haven't had a chance to read them but they may help you. Go to www.metacreations.com/community/artistry/97-10/index.html for Karen Sperling's Artistry magazine section.
