: I've been using a 6x9 CalComp Drawing Slate II with Painter 5 and have no complaints. I haven't used a Wacom so I can't compare the two but the CalComp works great. I work on a Mac G3 266 and everything works very smoothly.
I'm trying to decide too..
Wacoms seem to be tilt sensitive, according to some stuff I read.
Are Calcomps tilt sensitive ? Does it matter ?
Calcomps seem to offer 512 levels of pressure vs 256 for Wacom
Is this a noticeable difference, or a marketing feature ?
Should I just toss a coin ?
