In Reply to: Text shape tool -- is there a better way? posted by Sean Nelson on July 04, 1997 at 02:14:21:
: Hi
: I'm using FDP4 for Win95 (and now 5) to create text jpgs for one of my pages. After I create 3d text I have a color halo left over. I do the following:
: Select text shape tool
: Type text
: Convert to selection
: fill with airbrush
: apply surface texture
: convert to floater
: When I move the floater there is an outline or halo where the selection once was. Is there a way to create 3d text with surface texture without such a remnant?
: I don't claim to be an artist, so I'm sure this technique is lacking in some respect.
: All advice welcome...
