: I would like to E-Mail Painter 4.0 (for Windows 95) images. Can I simply attach them to an E-Mail in Netscape Navigator 3.0? What format should I save them into?

It all depends on what you want the receiver to have.
If your sole purpose is to show the image, then you
save the image to the JPEG format and attach it to
the email message. The RIFF files uses a very good
compression method, but the still tend to be huge
and shouldn't be used unless you really want the
reciever to be able to open it in Painter with all
floaters etc. preserved.
