drawing pad alignment

I want to do a tracing to an image size of 6 x 8.5 inch using my graphics tablet
(SummaGraphics SummaSketch FX). However, I am unable the register the real image size of my source .. the corners and edges I trace from the original do not match the corners and edges of my working file.

Any tips on how I could resolve this? \TK
