In Reply to: Painter/Wacom II geting stray lines across painting posted by Jim Gregg on April 14, 1997 at 11:52:30:
: I just bought Painter 4 and a Wacom ArtPad II. I am running it on a Packard Bell Pentium 60 and Windows 95 with 32 Meg of memory. Several times while painting I get a stray 1/8 to 1/4 inch wide line that runs across the painting from top to bottom at an angle in the color I am painting in.
: I have tried to re-create the problem by drawing all over the pad and filling the painting with marks, but with no success, it just seems to happen on it's own.
: What could be causing this? Bad Wacom, Painter, static, or just an inexperienced artist?
On the Macintosh, I solved this problem by trashing the Wacom Preferences in the System/preferences folder and restarting.
