Greetings. I apologize if this question has already been asked. I looked through the database and couldnt find any reference. Here is the question:
I am creating an HTML document using a PC. I use a Mac for my artwork. I have created several Painter 4 files that contain images that I wish to use in the HTML document. I already have a GIF background image that I will use in the HTML document. I wish to overlay the images that I have created in Painter 4. The problem is that no matter how I save them, (as floaters, etc.) in whatever file format, (TIFF, JPEG, etc.) I am not able to save just the image. In other words I am unable to make the background transparent so that I can overlay it on my GIF background.
Im sure there is a way to do this as Ive seen transparent GIFs on the Web. Can anyone help me?
P.S. I also have access to Photoshop and Illustrator.
