: I have had major problems with this lately.
: Does anyone know what to do to clean this up?
Ultimately, you will want more hard drive space
(throw things away, or buy a bigger/additional drive).
In the meantime, or if the scratch disk is full &
you are about to lose work because the action you
were trying to accomplish was to save the file, you
can try this trick. It has worked for us. Create
a new file (say 3 pixels by 3 pixels)and close out
the file without doing anything else. Apparently,
this will clear the PhotoShop cache, which may give
you enough space to complete the operation at hand.
