I recently upgraded to Photoshop 5, and when I printed a CMYK image I noticed it was drastically different then when i printed it with version 4, especially my blues turning out as deep purple.
I then paid a little bit more attention, and noticed I used the RGB color space in the new "Space" pulldown menu on the Print dialog. I read up on it in the documentation, and it says I could choose CMYK to have the data sent to the printer in CMYK color, which is what version 4 accomplished by "print as..." when the image is in RGB, or automatically when the image is in CMYK mode.
So, I try to follow the documentation's advice...but there is no CMYK option in my pulldown list of color spaces! I have about 10 choices, but no CMYK.
Has anyone else encountered or heard of this problem before? If so, any ideas to fix it?
