Please could you tell me whether it is possible to make a blurred image against a transparent background and save it as a GIF89a. (I need to place the same blurred GIF against different backgrounds).
The problem I have is that in order to blur the Selected image (foreground), it has to be moved to a transparent background first - which defaults to RGB. Then after blurring against the transparent background, there is no option but to flatten the image (when the background turns white) prior to converting back to Indexed Color (needed for GIF89a).
