Wow.. that really did work. I had this problem after installing new scanner software. Even the tech support people for the scanner couldn't help me. Thanks Nancy :)
: Dunno if this will help you, but in the past, if PS got glitchy on me..... I'd go in and trash my Preference file. Nowadays, you can trash more than one Pref file to give you a clean start. From the PS5 HELP file:
: >>Open the Adobe Photoshop Settings folder inside the Photoshop folder, and rename or delete the Adobe Photoshop 5.0 Prefs file and the Color Settings file. New default preferences files will be created the next time you start Photoshop.<<
