How much memory do you printer have? Is your printer postcript? Do you printer is postcript level 2?
Those are questions that could address your problem. I have a HP Laser 4M and it print with not problem. It also print is a use a Linotronic Driver. Try Printing using a Linotronic driver is your printer is postcript using ASCII no Binary.
