I am using the Xdata extention on both the Mac and an IBM compatible and the performance difference is huge. I am importing 193 text and image files into a Quark document (approx. 26k per picture+text) and it takes 40 minutes on the Mac but only about 8 minutes on the IBM. Does anyone know of a way to improve the performance on the Mac? I have to use both so I can't just go to using the IBM exclusively.
