Blue is the colour

A disturbing problem is cropping up in a couple of our jobs when they are put through an OPI and output to the RIPs. Occasionaly a square or rectangular patch of blue will just disappear. However, anything on top or under the blue will print. The colour splits for the two blues that seem to be affected are C100 M70 Y0 K18.5 and C100 M60 Y0 K30.

Any ideas?!
