I had some problems printing, but with a different printer (Tektronics Phaser 480X). Quark seemed to send the file, but it would just never begin to print. The solution was so weird it just might help you as well. Do not try to select your printer in the chooser as you normally would. I had to load the Laserwriter extension, copy the printer description that came with the printer into my system-extensions-printer descriptions folder, and then restart. When in the chooser, select the Laserwriter. Go to setup, and select the correct description. I print fine now.
