I also have the sad news that after installing OS 8.1, Quark 3.32r5 (and a re-install of 3.31) reports "incompatible with this operating system.". I've had to go back to 7.1.2 on my 7100/66 in order to continue to get work done in Quark. The other glitch under 8.1 is that it reports that there is no dial tone when it tries to dial using my US Robotics 33.6 modem. (Again, everything works normally when I re-start in 7.1.2).
