Will someone please help me with this infuriating problem I'm having with Quark... I'm at the end of my rope.
I'm importing text from a MS Word document... which, incidentally, was created on a PC. I pasted the text onto my document, and about 14 pages of it came out fine (for some reason I couldn't use the 'Get Text' command, but that's another story...) Then the text stops near the top of the page, and when I move the cursor past the last line, it jumps to the last linked page, which is blank but for a small x-box in the lower left hand corner of the page. All of the pages in between are blank as well...
I've tried gaggles of things to try and figure out what is going on here, and there was no mention of this kind of problem in "The QuarkXPress Book," by Peachpit Press. This concerns me because the book is so thorough, I've never encountered a problem before that wasn't addressed there. *What* is going on here? Has this happened to anyone else out there? Any advice would be *immensely* appreciated... thanks in advance.
