Quark 4.0 and some imcompatibilities

I found out that quark 4.0 is incompatible with something I use every day. First, it's not compatible with INposition 1.6.1, I don't know about the 2.0 though.
Secondly, Quark doesn't support PDF (printer description file) anymore, wich is a real pain 'cause I need one for 2 Xtension that shipped with the press (E-print).
If someone knows a way to convert or to open a PDF file into a PPD file, please let me know!
